No, Best Buy won't take them. They only do exchanges due to media issues and such but no returns on opened games.

BestBuy may not even do an exchange for media issues. I bought some software, got home, opened the package, and there was deep scratch on the disk. I immediately went back to the same store and they refused a refund or exchange. Basically implied I made the scratch.

So they would not allow you to return an unopened game? I'll have to give them a call, I figured I could always return Fallout:New Vegas but heck if they won't take that back...

Unopened you can return and you should easily get a refund.

the point of this is he is going to purchase games from new egg to save some cash that he spent from best buy
they will be unopened games so pretty much there is no issue only thing he has to worry about is having the reciept that says best buy and how much he paid

This is not a crime hence you are allowed to bargin and and find more suitable deals for you nothing was stolen and everything was returned for the exchange that took place to get the items in the first place it is a win win

Other people go alot farther to get a deal and obviously more dishonest then i would say the person who posted the thread

I wish him luck and im sure he will get what he needs after all it is about the people who keep them in business

Received the three games I had opened on Friday, took them and the unopened Fallout:New Vegas in for a return. Set off the alarms on my way in but besides that all worked out as expected. I forgot to order Fallout:New Vegas from NewEgg but one of the reps said they would honor the credit (probably because I bought so many other games).
