thinkpad ultranav tap to select

Does anyone know how to get the ultranav trackpoint tap to select working on a thinkpad? (T42p W7 Pro) Mostly all else working.

Do you have the latest driver downloaded and installed from the Lenovo site?

What is the version and source of your current driver?

I have done the system40 for w7 update, and could see no change in that area, but it did fix the sound. Has anyone with a thinkpad gotten the ultranav working?

Just ran across a possible help on this... Will try tonight and report the result. Lenovo Support & downloads - UltraNav driver for Windows 7 (32-bit), Vista (32-bit), XP and 2000 - ThinkPad..............


OK, I tried it and it works. If you have a thinkpad and it has any driver problems, I think Lenovo has done great work assembling the drivers to fix them. Make sure you download the driver and the ultranav gizmo as well. Install both and set up your little rubber knob.
