Hey guys, thank you for taking the time to check out my issues,
I am experiencing alot of blue screens, sometimes I get a irql_driver_not_less_or_equal
BSOD's, any help you can give would be great, and I value the time you take
to look at my case :)

Shawn :geek:

also I have to add, my explorer.exe keeps crashing and rebooting, and when I go to bed it goes to sleep, and doesnt come back lol I have to reboot in the morning. I just hate to power down a computer every night, I know its bad

= yes
- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? = 64 BIT
- the original installed OS on the system? = NO
- an OEM or full retail version? = it is OEM
- What is the age of system (hardware)? = less than 3 years
- What is the age of OS installation = NO (have not reinstalled it, lots of stuff, I need to use it daily, no time)

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000000, memory referenced
Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
Arg3: 0000000000000000, bitfield :
    bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: fffff80002c9c436, address which referenced memory

Hi Shawn. I looked at your four most recent dumps. Each shows a different bugcheck code, each blames something different and all indicate memory corruption. It appears that you are running two antivirus programs, AVG and Eset. That is an almost guaranteed source of conflict. Until you get your system stable, I recommend uninstalling both of these and installing Microsoft Security Essentials in it place of them. Uninstall AVG with this removal tool: Tool (64 bit). If you are running Identity Protection, remove it with this tool: Tool. Uninstall Eset with this tool: [FONT=&quot]Tool. As are many third party security programs, both AVG and Eset are know to cause BSOD's on some Win 7 systems.

You have some out of date drivers loaded on your system. Two in particular are very obsolete and one was blamed for one of your crashes. From what little I could find on\about these drivers, the sources indicate trouble with Win 7 systems. Uninstall this device or rename the drivers.

you guys are awesome! :)

I do have a tascam us 122 external pre amp,. and it was hell getting the drivers to load correctly, I usually have to uninstall it and reinstall it, so that might be throwing up errors, as for the anti virus's deleting now, I was worried it might be a failing drive, I also got a system_service_exception today which is new, im off to follow your amazing advice, you guys made my day :) Thank you.

You are welcome Shawn, we were glad to help. :)

Update all those drivers because otherwise they will be giving you blue screens.

Do not install more than 1 AV brand, I would recommend Eset or MSE. However, if you want Eset make sure you get it 2010 or later.

Shawn

You are most welcome for the help. Those 2007 drivers for your Tascam amp are not going to work with Win 7. If Tascam does not have updated drivers, the amp is obsolete in regards to Win 7. You can try running it in the Vista compatibility mode. I do not know if you can make that work or not.

Ive had two more crashes, I think I removed the Eset (nod32) when I tried to install a fresh copy I got the first dump, then about an hour later while I was monitoring the cpu it BSOD on me again

heres what my resources were at when it happened and I have attached the dumps

the screenshot, is my systems memory supposed to be at 80% usage when im not doing anything?

Im experiencing frequent Driver_IRQL_Not_Less_Or_Greater BSOD's now :(

Each of the two dumps has a different bugcheck code and both blame Windows system files, which are highly unlikely to be the real cause. I see Eset loaded in the most recent of the two dumps. It is the same version as you had installed previously and this version is definitely known to cause problems on some Win 7 systems. The dumps do not point to a definite cause. This means you have to troubleshoot by the process of elimination. You need to eliminate all possible sources of conflict. Since your version of Eset is a known possible cause of BSOD's, you need to uninstall it. Once your system is stable, you can certainly try Eset again; but follow Cybercore's advice and install the latest version - not the version you now have. In the meantime, while you are troubleshooting, I suggest you install Microsoft Security Essentials.

AVG is gone; good job. I still see outdated drivers loaded on your system. Three of these drivers are dated 2007 are not going to work with Win 7. One of them was involved in both of the crashes. Update these drivers or uninstall the software or hardware they are associated with. Be sure to update the Realtek driver.

The nod drivers are all there, which means you didn't uninstall it:

Code:
 fffff880`02066000 fffff880`02138000 eamon eamon.sys Fri Sep 11 01:12:19 2009 (4AA9DC33)
fffff880`0190f000 fffff880`01932000 ehdrv ehdrv.sys Fri Sep 11 01:12:55 2009 (4AA9DC57)
fffff880`04671000 fffff880`04691000 epfwwfpr epfwwfpr.sys Fri Sep 11 01:07:43 2009 (4AA9DB1F)

First try Eset uninstaller file, then use Revo Uninstaller.

Reboot and install Eset 2010. Or you can replace NOD with MSE.

Update drivers as on page 1 of this thread.

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If kernel debugger is available get stack backtrace.
Arguments:
Arg1: fffff880024fa3f8, memory referenced
Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
Arg3: 0000000000000000, value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
Arg4: fffff88000c1bc50, address which referenced memory
