Why can't I see some subfolders in for example Program files? I have checked this in Control Panel, Folder options (so all folders should be shown), but for some - unknown to me - reason, some folders are missing for a certain program. I simply don't understand why, and I have taken ownership over that particular folder.

Thanks. I actually found the solution myself. The problem was that a program had a reference to its data as c:\program files\program\data (clearly written that way), but for some unknown reasons this folder was actually located under somewhere under users\(looooooong path I can't remember)

Completely impossible to guess, so Microsoft has really made some efforts here to hide peoples data!
