I have been using Mailwasher Pro and Outlook 2003 without problems. As Office 2003 is in the same "non support" position as Windows XP, I've been looking for a different e-mail program.

I installed Mozilla Thunderbird for trial. It works OK but there is a problem with Mailwasher Pro and Thunderbird. With Outlook 2003 when I did a "Wash Mail" with Mailwasher Pro it would open Outlook 2003 and download any e-mails, and then delete them from Mailwasher Pro. With Thunderbird, Mailwasher Pro is not deleting the messages after mail is "washed" to Thunderbird.

I found a reference to unchecking the option to leave a copy of the message on the mail server, in Thunderbird and I've done that but it didn't help. I'm missing something else, since Mailwasher is not deleting the messages after delivery to Thunderbird.

It is working properly this morning. Only thing that was done was a power down last night and power on/boot up this morning. I tried several reboots yesterday during troubleshooting and it didn't help.
