Ok, this isn't a tech/Windows 7 question but why does CNC Tiberium Wars seem like such an unbalanced game? I tried a skirmish last night with the AI on medium and within 2 minutes there were already enemy tanks and troopers on my doorstep. If I put the AI on easy then its not challenging at all, in fact its more of a walkover.

I don't take gaming too seriously, its just something to relax but honestly when stuff like this happens then I really wonder if I got my money's worth. Does anyone else feel this way too, or is it just me?

Medium AI is indeed alot more challenging, but that's why you have to train your skills. Maybe they are in 2 minutes on your doorstep but if you only focussed on building structures you won't come far.
First of all build up your defenses with several anti-tank units, the base defence should be focussed on infantry first, this will spare you a lot of money in the beginning. Think strategily, that's why it's called an RTS game :).
But maybe they had to put more AI modes in it. Like Very Easy, Easy, Medium, Hard, Insane.
All I can say is keep playing against the medium AI (maybe with another medium AI as a teammate), and try to discover how they build their army.

Good luck!!
