tiger capture device missing

After a clean install my tiger capture device is missing and i cant capture "what you hear" can anyone enlighten me as where to get it and help me make sure its the correct one for my soundcard if thats how it works !? (nnoob!)

the link also contains the XP/win2000 driver also its a universal driver run it in xp compat mode and also run as administrator

Let me Google that for you ,lol...ta i did have a bash at searching on the link page but to no avail fingers crossed, dont suppose you know anything about displaying file contents do you im having a nightmare getting my folders to customise in "properties "

this is slightly confusing me i dont seem to find a tiger capture device not sure what tiger cap is for, soundcard or motherboard also is tiger capture fot tv tuner as i used it to capture sound off the internet sorry to come across as dumb please perservere

the only driver ifound for tiger capture is for a tv tuner device which in the asus link click on os xp then from the list (16 files) select "others" there you will find a driver for asus hybrid tv tuner is that the one ?

got it i used the pbupdater and found it there thanks for your help. rep you sorry to waste your time , have you any knowledge as to why when i customise a folder to show an image ie a cd cover it wont i tried to put an image on my " my music" folder earlier and it put the image on all the sub folders so i have about 80 Gb of tunes with the same album cover Doh! ive tried everything i can think of. sorry to hijack me own post lol

glad you sorted it boohbah, sorry i dont know how to fix the folder issue im pretty sure there was a post about it not long ago, have you tried a forum search?

that was probably me. (post) actually although i got my software dowloaded and shows to be working in device manager ,and upgraded also, when i right clik on the speaker icon bottom right of desktop and select recording devices this is what i see it should have tiger capture in there WTF!!

lol my bad, had to right click on device that were showing not plugged in and select show disabled services then selected it although theres no mention of tiger capture device ,im not worried now my record levels are up.

good ,the tiger device name is asus's generic name for its tv tuner capture card ,thats why it was so dificult to find the right driver

I should fess up ,before i posted i looked on pbupdater but i couldnt see it it was your input that made me realise it was a tv tuner capture device ,so i knew what to look for on updater. thanks again pebbly
