Time / Keyboard issues

Hello everyone,

I'm having two problems with my freshly installed Windows 7.

First one: TIME. I'm using a local time server (timp.mcti.ro), GMT+2, clock displays properly.

However, the date in my yahoo messenger is off. While it's 7:43 here, yahoo reads 9:43.

Visual studio reads 16:43 - SYSTEMTIME class.

Second: Keyboard.

I can't simply make a - " -. If I press one time, nothing happens. If I press two times, I get - "" -. The Keyboard Layout is set to English.

Any ideas, please ?

Thanks, but unfortunately nothing works.

My clock was showing properly, but I hadn't restarted YM. It's good now.

Visual studio is still giving me trouble - my system time is 9:30, yet it shows 18:30.

As for the keyboard, that doesn't work. What am I supposed to do? I tried using "Reset All" to no avail.

LE: I'm beginning to think this is not a bug, rather a retarded feature. Shift + ' and Space = ". It's a bit far stretched but I can see what they wanted to do. The same goes for shift + 6. Press it once, nothing. Press it twice, I get ^^. Shift + 6 followed by Space = ^. WEIRD.

Since I don't think this is solvable, I'll just leave it. Thanks for trying to help, Lemur.

My only problem now is why SYSTEMTIME class picks up the wrong time. But this isn't a programming board. Thanks again.

Check your time in the bios.
Also, what if you're NOT synched to the time server?

**EDIT ** Also, if you only have one key that's not working on your keyboard, can you test with another keyboard?

No integrity violations. I used both commands, same with Visual Studio.

My keyboard is fine, Win 7 is causing this. I haven't had problems with either winXp/win2k3.

And by the way, the keys DO work. But not properly.
