Today the uncle my next home expired. He loved me a lot.

That uncle is not in my family, but my neighbor ..... who used to treat me as his family member from my very childhood.

When I came to the village permanently, he helped me to get settled there, and stood beside me at all my needs over last five years.

all is well, stopped using the patches but still using the spray.

did you call him Cā cā, i used to be a decorator and i used to paint several indian restaurants owned by the same person, as part of the deal when i painted as well as payment in cash i used to have a certain amount of staff meals.
i got on very well with the owner and i used to call him Cā cā, he told me it meant uncle, but it could have meant your majesty knowing him,
i love indian food and when after an evening out in the pubs i would go to the restaurant which had longer license hours and have a staff meal and a few more beers,
they were good times and still today i cook a curry once a week with naan breads ,the kids love currys too and its dannys favorite meal.
unfortunately no one in the house will allow me to cook very hot curries as a phall was my fav, i cant even get away with a vindaloo, so they are mild with no chillies,

im sure you will remember him fondly for a long time arc as i still remember Cā cā all these years on.

Today I finally decided to make a start on a tutorial for manually replacing corrupt SFC files. 3 A4 pages down and I haven't even scratched the surface of it all! It's going to easily be 10+ pages at this rate. Time to head to bed so I can write it with a clear head tomorrow

@Arc, I'm so sorry to hear about the death of your Uncle, even if he wasn't actually a family member you still had a great kinship with him and I know you will miss him. Sending you my condolences for your loss.

Today I finally returned after being away from Sevenforums for about two months. Had to exams, a thesis and a lot of other things, so I didn't really have any time to visit.

Devastated & drunk. Trying to get more drunk.

I guess we lose tomorrow to USA in bronze game, this team is not worth any medals. It would be a small consolation if the archenemy Sweden lost tomorrow's final to Switzerland.

Arc I'm so very sorry about the death of your Uncle.. I too had an Uncle I loved dearly, same as he loved me ( my grandparents took him in as a child when his mother passed away), raised him as their son... along with my Dad , his brothers and sisters.

Congrats to all who have taken on , trying to quit smoking.. I congratulate you in this effort. I saw my Dad , try to quit
a few times. He finally made it once his lung doc told him it was either you quit or you are going to die and not very far away.
