Sit in a tepid bath(not too hot nor not to cold) this may bring temp down and like Bill said ... drink plenty of water.
Don't mix alcohol with antibiotics.

Trying to get a doctor to visit me at home on Sunday was finally so impossible task, I asked my neighbors son to drive me to closest hospital. The ER doc look at me, listened the lungs and gave a shot telling no worries, contact your own doctor tomorrow, whole process done in less than 10 minutes. Feeling not too bad at the moment, don't know what I got but it's good . Have to ask my own doctor to find out tomorrow what it was...

I believe now I panicked for nothing, it's just that I have never had so high fever than the peak yesterday was. My head kept telling me it's lethal .

Fever was already down to more acceptable levels few hours later but anyway I decided to see a doctor today, Sunday or not. Feeling quite OK at the moment. Got good stuff, who needs booze when stuff like this exists...

Glad to hear you're on the mend Kari, same here those new antibiotics are finally starting to clear things up, chest is feeling clear, just the stuff in the back of my throat to clear, it is loosening up and clearing and that's on just 3 tablets got another 4 to take.

Hopefully we should both be better in the next week.

I now know after meeting my own doc today that I have not only a flu but acute bronchitis, my blood values from last week also show some high infection levels (don't know how to put it in correct English?). Still 38°C (100.4°F) fever but feeling somewhat better. It seems this week goes pretty much in bed, which for a lazy man like me is not too bad .

From June to Early October we turn off the water heater. The temp out of the tap is on average 126F.

Even if you let it run? That's more then water heaters are normally set at.

Most houses here in the desert have the water pipes run through the ceilings and so gather heat from the attic. when its 100F + outside you can quite imagine the temps in the attic. We are supposed to be conserving water but cheap assed contractors are to cheap and lazy to lay Pex pipe in the slabs to cut heat down. from the 60's to the mid 2000's copper and anodized were the pipes of choice but the alkalinity of the soil destroys most to fail in less that 8 years.
Pex is the only alternative here but it cost more. Here's the rub though.
You need less footage of pipe to run underground and come up to a sink, toilet or tub.
Takes more pipe to run down the wall to same applications.
fewer feet means lower cost. (it actually equals out to close to the same)
Pex requires plumbers to be trained and tools to be bought. A pex crimper for 3/4" runs about $75.00 USD

Laziness is the biggest culprit. I am/was a journeyman plumber as well as a general contractor turned PC tech because the housing industry here turned to crap in 05'.

If I get to build my own place again I will definitely put the pipes in the floor. Running the watter for 15 minutes just to get tepid water is not conserving water.
