DOUBLE . Today I unsubscribed from two threads coz I realized that they are beyond my help. Was very tempted to unsubscribe from another one, for stupidity obviously, but not from the part of the OP.

I have started posting at Ten Forums by expanding the amount of time I spend in Forums daily. I have noticed there the same thing I noticed when I made a brief attempt to post in 8F in its early days: a level of incivility that we never see at 7F. I will no longer post in discussion threads because repeatedly I am attacked just for expressing long-established information or a passionate opinion. Here I tried to share information that 4gb RAM is addressed in 32 bit when you include hardware:

That is almost entirely wrong. I'm not sure what you're an MVP in, but I certainly doubt it's Windows. 32 bit Desktop Windows does not support PAE, and therefore cannot access more than 4GB of memory (32 bit server versions can access more than 4GB).

David who is from the civilized forums was so appalled he tried to tell the guy I never said it can address more than 4gb RAM, then had his head snapped off.

I will not stoop to any further discussions with this snarling mob apparently from the failed OS forums. But I will continue to help at 10F and if any of this pollutes the help threads I will report them and either it will stop or I will go.

I've always installed 32 bit on 4gb RAM or less and always gotten better performance, as has everyone I've suggested it to. I learned it here and no one has ever contradicted it. But to me actual performance counts most.

? huh. And ya, as far as I knew any 32 bit OS cannot accept more then 4GB ram. (Other than server.) Anyways I do not know why you would even want it to....

Well stopped smoking might have to take up heavy drinking as a substitute for everyone being off line at once during a issue installing win-7 on a new ssd on my desktop,

So sad didn't see in advance my monitor would not be displayed during an attempted boot to the ssd and dvd drive ,
No monitor no can see anything,

Removed ssd and put it in my external case but still don't know what to do with it,
I would imagine I need to install win-7 on it and the monitor disk which I do have but I lack details :/
