Today, after school, I had an appointment with an optrometrist for eye-screening. He put some drops in my eyes, which made my vision blurry. It also widened my pupils (temporarily) so he could take a picture of my eye. The pictures had such a bright flash, it burnt into my eye for a few minutes, before doing it 4 times again. Going back home, my pupils were still wide open, everything glaring, even though there was 100% could cover. I told my sisters friends to stare at my eyes, they thought I was on drugs! What a hectic time!

Stay out of the sun or wear shades when going out is a must after this kind of treatment.

My husband had this last week, he has to go every year because he's diabetic, had to get the son-in-law to take him because he wouldn't be able to drive after the screening.

Yes, I've been through that, they gave me some dark shades like you see blind people wear. I had to wear them over my sunglasses as my eyes are light sensitive anyway. I hope the tests turned out well. A Guy

I've been to refresh my first aid training today. I have to do this every 12 months for work. Quite good fun attempting to resuscitate a plastic doll and dressing imaginary wounds etc.
Also, when doing CPR we were singing the first verse of Nelly The Elephant. It's 100 BPM and 30 beats long. Occurred to me that it would be quite nice being brought back from the brink of the abyss by someone singing an old fashioned comic song.
