Today the fog came up the coast. It was only 86 and has cooled way off this evening. Just as we like it, our "natural air conditioning".

My trip to Liverpool went great. We saw Picasso and The Maritime Museum. There was an exhibition on the slave trade. Liverpool was a major port in the "triangular trade" and became rich because of it.
We were all really moved by it. There were lots of black people viewing the exhibition and it made you want to go up and say "I'm sorry what my ancestors did to your ancestors", if you know what I mean.
Also real Picasso (as opposed to photos in books) is awesome. My guys were amazed by the whole thing and so was I. Well worth it

Today, I got a new modem from my service provider and WOW, what a difference.
The old one was cutting out all the time and, evidently, not giving full speed.
Amazing what you get use to...

Today I went to the Doctors. I knew I was ill but as it turns out I have Tonsillitis and an ear infection. They're both bearable but I don't like being ill .

Either one of those can make one miserable and both together definitely do. Heal quickly and bounce back.

It's greatly appreciated.

Hopefully I'll be a lot better by the weekend, I've got a weeks worth of antibiotics for my ear infection and that should sort the tonsillitis out too.

Did you get any ear drops like Auralgan for the ear infection?
It is over the counter and does a good job. IMO
Chew on ice cubes for throat.

Thanks Dennis. When I used to get ear infections quite regularly a few years a go I did have ear drops, unfortunately because of the my sinuses being completely blocked (to the point I can barely hear in my left ear) I don't think they would do any good.

The ice cubes however sound like a good idea .

I'll give those a go later.

I had an ear infection earlier this year. Definitely not fun. Can't fathom having tonsillitis at the same time (though I did end up with pneumonia from the ear thing). Hope you feel better soon!
