Today I went to the Doctors. I knew I was ill but as it turns out I have Tonsillitis and an ear infection. They're both bearable but I don't like being ill .

Well they are certainly true, I may be really quite ill but I got my second gold blob today which almost (ok not almost) makes up for it .

Today is a holiday weekend in England and Wales and is the start of the annual Colne Blues Festival.
So blues music in all the pubs, bars and community facilities (sports centre, Municipal halls etc)in this small Pennine hill town from lunchtime today until Monday at midnight.
It's great in many ways and the town is completely full on a good year. They close the main street, there are street performances, street food etc.
I'm a music lover and will tour the town catching different bands.
Staying in is the problem as I live in the centre and can hear music from 6 different venues. This forms an unrecognizable melange of rhythms and sounds coming in my windows all day and most of the night!
The problem is my dog is very much a country and western lover and hates the blues or any kind of rock music.
Consequently I have to blast out my meager selection of country music at high volume on repeat to pacify the beast.
I'm not a big fan of country so this makes for an uneasy experience for both of us

Hard Drives

Today I have been in contact with a new member in another thread on this forum who has twelve hard drives (yes 12!). And here's me with the majority of my near neighbours thinking a hard drive is a strip of tarmac leading up to a house!

Wishing you a speedy recovery if you're still plagued by both..
I used to have tonsillitis all winter it seemed ,when I was a kid. Sinus I still have
to deal with in Fall and Spring.. I'm so hoping I'll get ahead of both this next go around... as you said it can cause an awful ear blockage as well.. makes you act and feel drunk.. or what I would guess being drunk felt like.. as I've not ever been near anything that would make me drunk.(otherwise)
