Very well said, Dennis. Not looking for sympathy or recognition but my wife was diagnosed with MS over 30 years ago. Neither one of us knew what MS was or how it would effect our lives.
To make a long story short the last 10 years have been very difficult for her and myself. She is bedridden and no control of her bowels or bladder. It has become a 24/7 challenge.
Like Lee and Angie we could have packed our bags and left. We chose to stay with our loved ones, soul mates, to make sure they got the best care one could give. The three of us and others all know that our spouses would do the same for us if the tables were turned. No questions asked.
The bottom line is we cannot change what happened yesterday nor predict what tomorrow will bring.
We cherish each and every moment with our loved ones and the thought of quitting or walking away has never entered our thoughts. It is the cards that we were dealt and we are going to play this hand out.
THW
(and you too are a hell of a guy, regardless of all our jokes)

It makes you realise that there is always someone worse off than you, and they are the ones you don't hear about because they just get on with life the best way they can.
