Thanks for all of the welcome posts. So far I have it running with only two issues so far but I've been to busy to mess with it. For some reason the SS doesn't start and the monitor doesn't turn off. The other issue is I can't get the index score to complete. I'm sure its something simple I set wrong so I'll need to mess with it more later.

Discovered that Neoscene is a good, fast little program to convert raw HD (AVCHD/H.264/MOV/.MP4) files into lightly compressed, very high quality AVIs for use in virtualdub before final edits in Vegas 9.0C.

One more day until the final 4 days of quasi-freedom before another drudge year of intensive upper management ensues--ugh. Or to put it simply, work's gunna start in earnest again soon. bah.

Seemed like my dogs ate/destroyed my internet installations, so i had to get a technician to look at it. But he could first come today, since it's christmas and stuff So i have been internet-sober for 7 days. So a bill is waiting for me
But it's good to be here again.
