Hi,
After upgrading from Vista to Win 7 and re-installing Win 7 several times I have 8 "Windows.old" folders on my "C:" drive and they all seem to be duplicates. What is the best way to delete the duplicates? I have tried a few "Duplicate File Finders" but none of them have done what they promise. Most claim to have found many duplicates and for a fee will delete them (price is around $30 US dollars). Is there a less expensive option? One even claimed to be free for personal use but after supposedly deleting duplicates for approximately 8 hours it didn't delete anything. I believe it claimed to have found 190K+ duplicates. Any help will be appreciated.
