Toolbar faded away

Just turned on my laptop and my toolbar (at the bottom) is faded. Start shows Sta but not full letters, icons are bright, right side icons are virtually gone. Toolbar in Firefox is white with a blue border across the top.

I don't remember changing anything last night. Any clue how to figure out what happened and how to fix it?

Run a full scan with Malwarebytes in Safe Mode if necessary, followed by your AV full scan. I'd also run a full scan with SUPERAntiSpyware - Downloads which digs out spyware that remains after uninstall in registry.

Then run SFC /SCANNOW Command.

If this doesn't repair it update your Display driver, seeing if a new one is provided by Windows Updates after enabling Automatically deliver drivers via Windows Update (Step 3)

You can also try System Restore to before the problem began, if necessary from System Recovery Options

If that fails, uninstall the display driver and reinstall it by restarting the PC.
