AHCI disk.

Running chkdsk from Properties Tools with no autofix says there are errors.

Dismount the drive and reboot. Chkdsk reports no errors found. Properties Tools Chkdsk still syas there are errors.

Auslogics Defrag also says there are errors.

Seagate. The SeaTools for DOS doesn't see any of the drives (AHCI problem?).
Got the SeaTools for Windows. Passes all the short tests. Will run the long test, but this will only finish in a (good)few hours time.

Are the four of them seen by the BIOS?

Drive failed SeaTools long test. Windows version can't attempt repairs. DOS version doesn't seem to see AHCI drives. I have a backup drive, will do backup. This should even report which file(s) it can't copy.

Doesn't explain why bootup chkdsj doesn't find errors. Might be AHCI problem as well, but it shouldn't be.

Thanks for help. Marking as solved.
