I recently upgraded my laptop to 7. I am running IE8. Everytime that I log onto the net I have to go through Tools/Internet Options/Connections/Settings and choose Automatically Detect Settings and uncheck Use a Proxy Setting to open websites. The computer will not open ANY site with the Use a Proxy Setting checked and 7 resets it to that each time I disconnect from dialup. The option to save the Automatically Detect is grayed out so that's not an option... Any ideas, anyone? It certainly is aggravating.
