Have it on my desky at the moment and yeh I found the Adobe stuff quite annoying - until I used the 32bit version as I didn't want to go down the Adobe update / download road as it invariably tells you that it isn't available.

Speed wise I don't find it faster than 8 - at the moment but I did like the way it took my favourites settings "over" to it when I installed, and I do like the narrower bars at the top.

I did see some refs to it becoming "independent" of Adobe and Siverlight but as anyone would know by now I'm a bit thick when it comes to much at all especially graphical stuff.

I was also wondering Chakra ref too did this download with the IE9?

Anyway I prefer it over Chrome it was downloading some nasty cookies all the time and speed wise well the IE is pretty fast.

minor pet peeve about IE9 - is it possible to make the address bar longer?

Of course. Like any other Windows app, when you put the mouse pointer next to it, see the double-sided arrow and slide it.

One bug i hate is IE9 puts a spurious "?" at the beginning of Live Mail messages.

Hiyya Raderator I don't quite get - too thick again - what's the address bar enlarge bit cos putting my mouse over any edge of the address bar does not do anything. The one feature however I would like to reduce is the open tabs width.

I do know what you are getting at it just doesn't work on my machine. Has it got something to do with 32bit / 64bit versions. I had to revert 32bit as the Adobe Flash issue is a nightmarish don't go there one for me going on past experiences
