Totally naive newbie Q re modifying a picture I took myself

I have no experience at all with doing anything to photos I've taken myself with my idiot-proof point-and-shoot camera and then transferred to my desktop computer. So this is probably a totally dumb question, but what the heck!

I took a picture myself on vacation in Spain, while visiting the Alhambra in Granada, Spain, that I think really turned out nice! I've actually printed it and I have it framed next to my desk.

It's and outdoor shot of one of the Nazrid Palaces, showing a beautiful outdoor garden and fountain, with the entire palace at the end of the shot reflected almost perfectly in the surface of the pool itself.

My only gripe is that with my cheapo camera, the blue of the sky got washed out by the bright sunlight whereas the nearly perfect reflection of that blue sky in the water of the pool turned out perfectly blue.

Is there a simple way a newbie like me could fiddle with the jpg file on my computer to make the sky part as blue as the reflection shows it's supposed to be? Or at least closer to "right" than the dishwater color it is now?

I could attach the jpg file if that'd help, or send it to someone who knows what he/she is doing, but I'm not asking for a handout; I'm asking for someone to teach me how to do it myself, if that's at all possible.

It's tough to direct someone without seeing the pic, so the best thing you can do is attach it to your next post, and possibly further explanation of what you want.

I use Photoshop, but am only mediocre with it. Maybe someone else who has more expertise can comment or fix you up after seeing the pic.

No doubt it's doable, but do you have Photoshop? It may not be easily done or even possible without it.

Post the pic in original size and format if possible.
