touchpad sensitive

Hello, I would like to change the sensitivity settings of my touchpad, but nothing under control panel>mouse> device settings (nor anywhere else in the mouse options) shows up to adjust sensitivity. I am using windows 7 on a Samsung NP-R525 laptop computer which has synaptics pointing device 15.2.20 installed. Is there some sort of driver or something that would allow me to adjust the sensitivity?

Just did a search and found this for you.

Others were have the same problem and had good results.

Thank you, however, I am unsure how to adjust the sensitivity of the touchpad with the program. There seems to be no specific sensitivity option within the program and there is no change to the options available in the mouse control panel. Perplexed.

Could you post a snip or screenshot of the different tabs available on your mouse properties dialog box? Perhaps it may give a clue as to what the problem is. Here's how to post a screenshot.
