I fixed my sensitivity problem by going to the pen and touch settings (search for pen and touch in the start menu) and disabling everything.
What i found was that both the pen and touch and the ELAN drivers were watching the touchpad and they were both trying to move the mouse. The jumping around was the result of the two fighting each other.
Now it is actually a really nice touchpad.
