since installing win7 on compaq cq60-114em my touchpad settings are gone,i cant turn off tap-to-click. Any ideas anybody

Have you installed the latest Synaptics drivers for your touchpad? If not, you can download Vista drivers from here. Works with Windows 7.
My HP laptop is using the same touchpad and working fine.
