I use Chrome for pretty much all my web browsing on my desktop, and I've been through moments where I've had adware type extensions install themselves silently through my browsing. I know to uninstall the extension from Chrome settings and to delete the folder from Chrome's directory, but this one is new. I really can't say exactly why it happens, but it seems like when I click on links, or even just inside a webpage in an empty space (to make that window active for ex), sometimes another tab opens up with the address of "tradeadexchange.com" or something similar, then goes to various pages made to trick people into thinking they have something wrong. It's pretty obvious that it's an ad, but it's had things like, "update your flash player" or "warning. there is a virus on your computer. [fake BSOD image with it]". I've checked in my extensions and it's not one of them, and it doesn't have a folder in Chrome's directory. This pesky thing seems to have affected my workstation in my IT class as well, and it showed its face on my old Dell too. My explanation is vague but is there something I can do? (I have an ad blocking extension, two in fact) I can provide images or more information if you need it.

- Now Aero SOMETIMES works on start, but everything's sluggish and Aero will usually crash back to Basic. Restarting still resolves the issue. I'll probably clean install later... But what a pain reinstalling the programs will be... ugh...
