Is it possible to copy the application parameters in the regedit file in XP, then copy them to the Win7 regedit file, in order not to have to install all the applications over again.
Is this possible?
Thank you in advance...
Peter

Sorry, but even if it was possible (and I haven' tried it) I wouldn't consider doing it. Due to the architectural differences between the OSes, I would always recommend that applications are cleanly installed on each OS. This ensures that the files are written to the correct folders, and that the correct information is written to the appropriate locations in the registry.

I don't think what you are proposing is possible - one of the reasons you cannot upgrade from XP is that there are significant differences in the core processes, and that would affect the registry entries.
I would suggest that you save and print out any application specific settings so you know what to re-set when you re-install the applications.
Sorry.
