I've got Trend running well on XP on the desktop I also have Win7 on. Looks like Trend not compatible with 7, it particularly crashes during any scan, but other times too.

Changed most exe files to compatibilty to Vista SP3, but it didn't help.

Trend haven't addressed Win7 yet, and can't find anything on their site.

Any ideas or solutions?

Yeah, there is a Trend Beta install here - Home and Home Office Products - Trend Micro USA

I had problems with the Trend Firewall in build 7000 of W7 x64, but once updated to 7086 it worked
Just ensure that you update your Trend to the latest engine aswell
