Trouble connecting to the internet (Wireless)

Alright guys, PLEASE help me out here I'm going insane trying to figure this out lol..

I have a Belkin USB Wireless Adapter F5D7050. In Windows 7 I can install the adapter fine. And I can get to where my available networks are showing. The problem is when I try to connect to my home network it says, "Windows is unable to connect to <my network>"

What is frustrating is that I've been able to connect to my home network a few times, but it only connects for a couple of minutes and then the connection is gone.

I've gone to Belkin's website and I have the drivers etc. and when I go to Start > Devices and Printers I can even see the Belkin USB Adapter so I know it's installed right.

One thing though is it says the #2 after the Belkin USB adapter in the Devices & Printers. Idk if this is anything important.

So wen you connected to your home wireless network, it initially connects and then after a period of time it disconnects and the network disappears altogether?

Can you screenshot these:
1) Network connections. (click on the Change adapter settings on Network and Sharing Centre).
2) Manage Wireless Networks (click on the Manage Wireless Networks on Network and Sharing Centre).
3) ipconfig /all (At command prompt type: ipconfig /all)

Edit: My Belkin Adapter also shows up as a Unidentified Device sometimes as well... and other times it shows up perfectly fine if I unplug/replug

Yup, say if It shows three networks including mine. Sometimes I CAN connect and other times I wont even be able to connect. If I can connect though, I will have internet access for a few minutes and then it will drop. When I go back to view my networks, my network that I was connected on is gone - like you said.

This is the error I get. I was able to view my network and my neighbors, and then when I tried to connect I was not able:

I don't know how to IP Config? Do I type that in the search bar under the start menu?

You have to get this yellow exclamation mark gone. Have you not sucessfully install the driver for this device?

Once that is completed. Then we can starting looking at the connections.

At first instance i would ave though your wireless adapters is not fully connecting to the network, you might have had limited connectivity but far from full connection if you have a driver issue with your wireless card.

aem, but what happens is when it doesn't recognize my card, I reinstall the drivers and it works, it says Device Drivers successfully installed. But then if I reboot it wont recognize the card at all. And if I unplug and replug the adapter it will sometimes try to automatically install the adapter, but it fails.

Either the driver is not 100% suitable or there is something wrong with the adapter.

Go into Device Manager, right click on the device, Properties, in Details tab drop down menu select Hardware ID. Screenshot this info.
