Trouble installing W7 64bit HP, message "reboot and select proper boot

Hello, I am currently building my first computer and the message appears when I try to install Windows 7 64bit Home Premium.

"reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key"

I have set my DVD drive as 1st in the boot order. I have checked that it is IDE. It is plugged into a SATA 3 cable into my motherboard.

MoBo: MSI P67A-GD65 B3
DVD drive: LG 22x DVD-RW SATA GH22NS70

Is there something wrong with the DVD drive and I have to replace it or is it my cabling?

Can not be both.

It is plugged into a SATA 3 cable into my motherboard.

Use a SATA 2 port.
