I have a problem with the windows 7 saying that my digtal jack is a rca jack and only giving me two channels instead of 5.1.
Driver version for realtek is 6.0 in the realtek program says it is a digtal output. When you click on sound then click on genral tab that is where it says rca jack and will give me no option to change it.
Strange thing is when i place a dvd into my dvd drive (on my computer) my amp shows up full doblby 5.1 sound but i still only get 2 channels.
I did have this working on xp sweet as so i do know it works i have also done a isolation test checking my amp over no problem there.
Sure. It could very well make a difference since it's an updated version. Give it a try.
Also, you can right click on the speaker icon in the system tray near the clock. Then click playback devices.
Click in the middle of the pane (in empty space of a device, doesn't matter) and then set it to show disabled devices and show disconnected devices.
Look for the best choice there for what you want to do.
