Trouble with Dowloading Autodesk 3DSMax Help

Hello,

I have been having trouble with getting a 3DS Max program to download from the Autodesk site for free student software. The problem seems to happen with each new reinstall of Windows 7 (my OS). Eventually from trying all sorts of fixes it will go, but the work it takes literally takes forever and it will work after fixing something that you might had tried 4,5,up to 10 times before. I have a second computer that operates on Windows 10 to test if it is the site with the problem to try if it downloads from that computer and it does fine.

I'm lost completely to finding the direct cause for the problem, and don't want to come across it by chance and not know how to get to it directly and save the time that takes hours for the next time I need to download the program. Any help I can get with this problem will be most welcomed. Thanks.

There it went the download again. There was a backround download from Steam that was sucking up all the speed from the modem I think. When I paused it the 3DS Max one went through. It looks like it was all that it was the problem.
