I can't post at the TC forums because it won't accept any of my email accounts, even those that are not large providers like yahoo or gmail. So i didn't know where else to ask this and i'm hoping someone here is familiar with TC. the question is this...i have a TC volume with 20 GB of space in it and much of it filled up. Is there a way i can simply move it to another drive, or do i have to extract the files to the other drive and create a whole new volume? I know it sounds like a stupid question because the latter way should be simple enough. But i have had issues with creating new volumes and i don't want to have to make a new one only to have to try several times to get it right.

I've always created a new volume and then copied the data over to it. What problems do you have when you create a volume, it's a pretty simply process overall

I don't see a way around creating another larger volume since you appear to be running out of space and Truecrypt volumes do not allow for resizing. As pparks1 has said I can't see the problem. If you created one successfully then another should be a doddle. The Truecrypt forum must rank as one of the few that restricts you to either your ISP email or another verifiable one - glad I've never needed to post there since I never use the ISP one and only use free webmail ones.
