need help when i first install a fresh copy of windows 7 it automatically creates a administrator account then i normally create a standard account after so when im longed in as standard user i create a new administrator account now is it possible to delete the 1st administrator account and keep the new one?????

Unless I am mistaken, you can log on as administrator, go to control panel, add remove user accounts. From there you can delete or create any account you want. I am not sure if it will allow you to delete the original admin account, but give it a try.

when im in standard user account i created a new administrator account so i now have options i can delete my 1st administrator account but what i want to know is it safe to delete my 1st administrator account is it ok????? can i keep the new administrator account and delete the old one????

I really don't know as I have never done that. I just use the original admin account set up when I installed windows. Reading through this thread and some of the links in it may answer your questions. Sorry I could not give you a better answer.

As far as I'm aware, yes you can. You must always have at least one administrative account on a computer.

Edit: @Lee, in case the orginal administrator account becomes corrupted.
