2 days ago, my laptop stopped working and when I rebooted it, it didn't let me get into windows and took me to startup repair and after 24 hours, nothing happened, so i decided to reboot my labtop again (while it was doing startup repair still) and i used recovery cd to try to repair but it said "Imminent Hard Disk Failure" and i click continue with the startup repair, my CD work ( got into the options) and i chose startup repair and it work but after that i gave me that my Hard Disk Failue..

what should i do? I dont have windows 7 CD, i have only recovery cd that i download for this forums.

i ran primary hard disk self test..it said Hard Test 1 quick (303)

It looks like that your hard-drive has failed and you need a new one. Has your laptop got any warranty left on it?

You'll need to replace your HD. You can take it to a shop or google the make and model of the PC + replace Hard Drive to find a replacement, even a video to see how its done. We can help you if we have the make and model number.

You can use the HD maker's HD Diagnostic extended CD scan to attempt to repair the HD, however it can never be fully trusted again and could fail at any time if it is generating the SMART warning you are seeing. I would use its remaining life to rescue any files you need.

Everything you need to attempt to rescue your files then http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219487-clean-reinstall-factory-oem-windows-7-a.html#post1839164 is in the blue link.

thank you
