Trying to overcome No Start Up issues

the laptop/netbook won't start up due to issues...

From the options I have - System Recovery won't work...

HP BIOS application is corrupt or missing
BIOS Application Error (501)

Boot Device Not Found
Please install operating system
Hard Disk (3FO)

Can someone make it easy to reinstall 7 Starter... I have located the Product Key inside the machine... I am guessing from flashdisk since it can't get on the net and I am on my iMac here...

Please type slowly as I am usually a Mac user and don't mess with it!

Clean Reinstall Windows 7

If it won't proceed then you may have a failing HD. Reboot into HP ESC key to run Diagnostics to check for sure. If it won't run then run the maker's HD Diagnostic
extended CD scan, followed by Disk Check
