Trying to rip music form a CD.

Everytime I try to rip music from a CD it always tells me that it can't rip anything from the CD at all. I tried pasting all the files in one folder but it can't play at all.

I just tried it. There are a lot of ads that you must skip, but other than that there wasn't any security warnings.

I use Avast.


I tried opening the file but it wouldn't let me. I think winamp rips cds, so I'll try that.

Cyberlink's PowerToGo rips audio, and, it's not free. Long shot -- Digiarty's Audio Whatchamacallit [it's the only WinX product that is free] - it just might include an audio ripper.

The best audio ripper I've been using is...are you ready for this...Nero Express 6. Forgot where I got that from.

If mbam pro/ premium didn't tag it as corrupt or pup filled I'd suspect Avast overreaction :/

You can always use virus total can't find a link for that though :(

Nero Express used to come bundled with computers and/or CD/DVD drives. I haven't used it in awhile as I usually buy only bare drives [nothing bundled] for replacements. I recall some 12-15 or more years ago when CD drives worked only with software that came with them.
