Turbo Boost and touchpad drivers

So, I just got my new laptop in the mail yesterday.

Anyway.. it's all gravy and whatnot, but I reformatted because I wanted to install my 7 Professional on it, which went along pretty well, but I'm facing a severe issue right now:

I can't use the double-tap feature in the upper left corner of my touchpad to turn it off, and I don't have my TurboBoost driver. Neither of them were on the HP website (where I got all the other drivers).. I'm desperate right now, because I've been searching and searching, with no results.

I'm getting a blank error message on that one. Probably the same error I was getting before, about how my system doesn't meet requirements.

Hi kbronski, try right clicking on the .exe file and running in compat mode http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html did the touch pad driver work for you ?

No, I just downloaded a generic synaptic driver and ran that. at least I have the scrolling feature unlocked.. it's just that the on/off tap feature isn't there, and I was wanting that.

Also, I just found the turboboost driver. Turns out it's just a desktop gadget? So lame.
