Turn off Windows Live?

I set up Windows live as my default email program. I have now decided to go back to just Yahoo via IE8. Now when I try to open an attachment my computer tries to open windows live and I can't view attachments. I guess need to deselect Windows Live as my default internet program? How do I go back so that my Yahoo email works like it did before I tried Windows Live?

if you go to programs and features, and go to windows programs and disable windows live, that should take care of the problem.

Actually, it's called in P&F "Windows Live Essentials". Click on "Uninstall/Change". You will be given the option to repair or uninstall individual components, one of which is Windows Live Mail.
