What is your current installed internet explorer version (help->about)?

I'm talking about internet explorer, not windows explorer! internet explorer version is still 8?
If so: Do http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorial...ation-conflicts-performing-clean-startup.html and try to install IE10 again. Revert to normal startup mode afterwards as explained in tutorial.

Do Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup and try to install IE10 again. Revert to normal startup mode afterwards as explained in tutorial.

In #71 I asked you to enable the built-in REAL admin account called "administrator". Did you enable it, did you log on as that new user and tried to install IE10 as that user?

I gonna google that error. But you did install as user Jacob!! Try to do it as user "administrator"
