So Ive been using the Turtle beaches Earforce x11's for a while now on my pc until today, today I enabled automatic updates, it did 37 updates and I also updated my motherboard using its disk. Now after all of these updates have been done i plug my headphones back in but, they dont work, they dont show up in playback or microphone. Ive tried using different usb's and rebooting but with no results and also I looked it up these headphones have no drivers. So what should I do?

I take it you've checked in device manager for any yellow exclamation marks?
& have you checked the volume mixer?

Realtek High definition audio has a exclamation mark, but it says the drivers are up to date so im just redownloading from their website.

OK, sounds like the problem.

You could try 'Uninstall' or 'scan for hardware changes' before installing another driver. maybe it's a driver conflict.
