I have a Hauppauge PVR-150 installed in my WIN 7 system. When I set up the Media center it only picked up Channels 2-99.

I would really like to receive the FOX BUSINESS CHANNEL (FBC, Ch 122) on this system. Is the PVR 150 capable of receiving this channel? How do I add it to the lineup.

Some cable companies encode channels above 99 in which you would need a converter box to receive digital channels above 99. I'd check with your cable provider.

I run a PVR-500 (dual tuner card) on my Ubuntu system with MythTV and ran into this issue, but I don't ever want to watch any channel above 99.

I almost forgot to add... Hauppauge products can't decode this information, while some ATI products and such can. But don't let that turn you off from Hauppauge, because I think their tuners are the most robust and reliable TV tuners for PCs that I've ever owner. I own two of the PVR-500s in two different PCs, and have them running 24/7 for years with no issues.

Hauppauge may release a firmware update in the future for their newer cards to help decode those channels, but it might be a battle between companies like Comcast and the tuner manufacturers since everyone wants in on the DVR business.
