I've just installed windows 7 and I went to 'live tv setup' and it says I have no TV tuner. I know there is a DVB-T tuner in this computer, and it was working fine when I was on vista. Would be nice to get it back, so has anyone got any idea how?

Hi and welcome

You need a driver. go to their web site and download the driver. If they dont have a win 7 driver you can also use the vista driver but it needs to be installed in compatibility mode. Let us know when you get it and we will help walk you through the install

Which website and which driver? I cannot find the precise name of the tv tuner, and I can't even find any mention of it within devices or the like.

Look in the 'Device Manager' under 'Sound, video and game controllers' section ..

I've got a fairly old Packard Bell Imedia PC and the TV Tuner is listed as a 'Multimedia Controller' in there ..

Hi there

whats the TV card

If you can re-load VISTA on a computer you can backup its driver with this very nice little program

(Double Driver - attached - just unzip / unrar runs from any drive - doesn't need to be installed).

1) backup driver to a local disk from VISTA
2) on W7 Device manager ==> at the Unknown / Multi-media device click on Update driver and point to the "backed up driver" that you backed up using the attached tool.

Cheers

It looks like I actually managed to solve this myself by heading over to the sony website and downloading the original driver again. Thanks for all the help though!
