TV turns off my laptop

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right spot for this, but it seemed like the best place.

I have a Sharp Aquos LED LCD plugged into my laptop via HDMI. Everything works great, EXCEPT:

When I turn off my TV, my laptop hibernates. I cannot find a setting to change this anywhere!

Any ideas?

before you turn your tv off
unplug the cable and then turn of the tv
