Solved Two (2) My Documents folders in Win 7

There are a couple of threads in Sevenforums that address this issue, but mine is somewhat different. Both of the My Documents folder reside in the default location (C:\Users\**). Pic of both in Explorer:

As you can see the creation date is the same, but the Modified dates are different:

Clicking on Properties for both they look like this:

Of interest, the contents of both folders are identical. How can I determine which of these two can be safely deleted.

Hello Mark,

The one that has the "Location" tab in it's properties page is your real "My Documents" folder.

You could use OPTION TWO in the tutorial below to make sure that your "My Documents" folder is set properly in the registry.
