Solved Two BSOD

Hi Experts,

I am experience two BSOD and all testmem 86 passed over night.
And run OCCT the Display card RAM is passed!

And my Motherboard BIOS is latest and haven't OverClock

Intel Q8400
GigaByte EP35-DS3R
Consair DDR 2 800MHz 2G RAM X 4
GigaByte GT440

These were caused by a memory exception. Please run verifier to find which driver is causing the problem.





Driver verifier

I'd suggest that you first backup your data and then make sure you've got access to another computer so you can contact us if problems arise. Then make a System Restore point (so you can restore the system using the Vista/Win7 Startup Repair feature).

In Windows 7 you can make a Startup Repair disk by going to Start....All Programs...Maintenance...Create a System Repair Disc - with Windows Vista you'll have to use your installation disk or the "Repair your computer" option at the top of the Safe Mode menu .

Then, here's the procedure:
- Go to Start and type in "verifier" (without the quotes) and press Enter
- Select "Create custom settings (for code developers)" and click "Next"
- Select "Select individual settings from a full list" and click "Next"
- Select everything EXCEPT FOR "Low Resource Simulation" and click "Next"
- Select "Select driver names from a list" and click "Next"
Then select all drivers NOT provided by Microsoft and click "Next"
- Select "Finish" on the next page.

Reboot the system and wait for it to crash to the Blue Screen. Continue to use your system normally, and if you know what causes the crash, do that repeatedly. The objective here is to get the system to crash because Driver Verifier is stressing the drivers out. If it doesn't crash for you, then let it run for at least 36 hours of continuous operation (an estimate on my part).

If you can't get into Windows because it crashes too soon, try it in Safe Mode.
If you can't get into Safe Mode, try using System Restore from your installation DVD to set the system back to the previous restore point that you created.

one of CPU can't pass the 1st Prime95

Then what is it mean? I haven't overclock the CPU

A failure in Prime95 can mean either bad RAM or bad CPU (with bad motherboard as a less likely possibility). Go through with Memtest86 now and test each stick individually: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html

Hi,

Memtest86 run over night, no problems on my RAM

But OCCT 3.1 power supply failed after few minutes (I set 10 minutes) it stop after about 3-4 minutes. I am attachment other BSOD dump and the OCCT image. It said CPU too hot.

But other BSOD dump is by after enable the driver verifier dump. I uninstall the SonicWALL VPN and upgrade to latest to fix the dne64x.sys problems, but still have other BSOD there.

Any good CPU fan suggestion, I am live in HK and my room is not open air considition all the day at home.

CoolerMaster CPU heat with fan is good?

sfc /scannow have CBS.log said something can't fix ....

Now have other BSOD Error 0x116

My computer have many different type of BSOD whatever I am update all LAN, Audio, Nvidia Display Driver still same.

Go through with some compressed air and blow out all air vents, heat sinks, and fans. Make sure no dust has collected and is restricting air flow. If there is no dust, you might invest in some higher airflow cooling. Fans can be purchased for your case, though you will need to know what size your case supports (if any). If you need help with that, post your case model and someone will take a look.

Have you run Memtest86 on all the sticks individually yet? If not, go ahead and do so, as it is hard to distinguish between RAM and CPU issues.

Hi all,

I final bought a CoolerMaster V6, and reinstall the Windows 7 x64 Ultimate by clean.

Reset the BIOS from default and disable the Floppy Disk to None.

Problems look like fix.
