Hi there Seven Forums,

first time posting here and very much in need of your expertise in this matter.

I recently upgraded a bunch of hardware in my computer on 7/18/2014. This hardware includes a new video card (msi 770 tf), 2 new hard drives (samsung 128gb ssd and wd black 1tb), and a new power supply
(thermaltake smartm 750w).

After completing the build I re-installed windows and all the drivers and went about my business.

That night I left my computer on throughout the night and woke up to find a windows error saying the computer had shutdown some time during the night because of a bluescreen error. Using bluescreenview I found out that the error had occurred at 7/18/2014 at 9:55am with the bad check string saying 'BAD_POOL_HEADER' and bug check code '0x00000019'.

The second bluescreen was last night or I guess early morning of today 7/20/2014 when I went to shut down the computer it bsod's right before the shutdown completed. Using bluescreenview I got the info bad check string 'PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA' and bug check code '0x00000050'.

Attached I've added the zip file from DM Log Collector and hopefully someone can take a look and help me out with this.

I'm desperate to find a solution to this after upgrading all this stuff I don't want to deal with any BSOD's

mobywan420, After your clean install, have you run and installed all Windows Updates? Also, where did you get your Windows 7 from? These are mostly Windows files that never cause BSODs and some come through Windows updates.

Hi Essenbe,

thanks so much for responding to my post here!

Yes I installed all the windows updates that were on the list.

I got this copy of Windows 7 from a friend of mine, I hope that is alright.

Also I never mentioned when I was installing windows I was getting some errors with my cd drive not reading the disk properly. Do you think windows could've not installed properly from that? And should I try a fresh install with an external cd drive since the one I was using was fairly old.

Or your saying it's primarily an issue with the windows updates?

I updated my system specs as much as I could, I hope this helps :)

I hope you didn't pay the friend for this copy of windows because it is an illegal copy. When you have cracked copies, you get issues like this.

Counterfeit installations such as yours contained heavily modified code that causes the installation to behave it unexpected ways. Analyzing BSOD's and determining their causes on these sorts of installations is very unreliable. For this reason, many analysts won't attempt it.

My recommendation is to install a genuine Windows 7. This will minimize the problems you are experiencing, and make subsequent diagnosis of BSOD's far more reliable. Once you are running a genuine Windows 7 installation, and are still experiencing BSOD's, we will be happy to help you solve them
