NVIDIA GeForce GT 430

I have two identical monitors that I would like to connect to my computer. I have only one graphic card and I am using a vga splitter cable. Both monitors display but they are mirroring each other, which I don't want. I tried a splitter to connect both monitors. Also:

Two monitors in one VGA with one splitter
Two monitors with one VGA and one DVI
Two monitors in one VGA with one splitter and one DVI on second monitor.

I used NVidia Control panel and tried different settings but, did not work.
I also tried right click on desktop then Screen Resolution but, did not work.
I windows logo + P but, it did not work.

Please help. I believe my graphic can support two monitors. Not 100% sure but, I thik it supports it.

NVIDIA detects:
Dell 1900FP
Dell 1907FP

Windows 7 detects:
Display > Screen Resolution

1. Dell 1907FP (Digital)
2. Genric Non-PnP Monitor

It previously detected Multiple munitor 1|2

If I click on IDENTIFY it shows 2 on both monitors.

If I click Windows logo + P and click on Extend then both monitors will be blank. I think all displays way to the left. Not visible to me.

Please help.

ralf206 welcome to the Seven Forums.

A VGA splitter will do nothing but mirror/clone each, you need to use VGA and DVI (assuming your card is one that has both, which some do, where others have two DVI ports) to be able to use extended mode. Using the DVI port shouldn't be a problem as those monitors have both a DVI and VGA port on them,

Thank you. It is fixed already. I just connected one VGA and one DVI then right click on the desktop for SCREEN RESOLUTION. I switch the monitors around and made monitor 1 as main monitor. Click on DETECT on both monitors. Then turn off both monitors. That fixed it.

Thank you!
