Two problems with my laptop and Win7

I have two problems with my laptop Acer Aspire 5735Z and Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. Quite often the screen freezes, after a few seconds turns off, immediately turns on and the following message appears: ''Display driver stopped responding and has recovered". I know that one possible reason is outdated driver, but I use Mobile Intel(R) 45 Express Chipset with driver 8.15.

The other problem that happens from time to time is the screen suddenly freezes, hangs for a few minutes, then blue screen appears (see screenshot) and laptop restarts by itself.

I increased paging file but it didn't resolve a problem.

I've looked up the Aspire 5735Z and can't find any dedicated W7 drivers for that model, and looking at the list posted below it looks like the chipset driver may need updating to 8.7.0, but also look at the VGA driver offered as that is more likely the cause of your display adapter issue. Select your location from here then type in your model number.

Thanks. I typed in my SNID and downloaded the drivers for the chipset and VGA (Win 7 64bit). The driver 8.7 for the chipset for some reason didn't install and when I tried to install a driver for the VGA the message appeared that this operating system is not supported.

Did you mean there is no VGA driver for Aspire 5735Z + Win7, only for Vista, right?
