Hey guys,
So I have two VMs. Both running Windows 7, not connected to the internet or any domain. They have local IPs and only communicate with the master machine (which works fine).

Those two machines are like replicas. Both have the same specs (4GB RAM, about 50GB of space).

Recently they started acting up. At the beginning I thought it was the explorer process crashing, but eventually I realized that it might not be related. Almost everyday, when I go on the machine, I type in my local admin password and see nothing but black screen. No desktop, no icons, no taskbar. Ctrl + alt + delete brings up the menu but nothing from there.

Looking at Event Viewer I see the same error on both machines, in the same order.
Example: http://prntscr.com/i15uc4

These error are in the same order always. Always two, then a few information logs, then the third one. Another example: http://prntscr.com/i15v0e

I don't know what to do, and google didn't bring many helpful tips.

Thanks

Hi BDani,

Could be way off here.

Master machine is connected to the Net and i assume is updated
VM's are not

There are some vague references that this is caused by a permissions problem, now from what you said
Login get blank screen - its possible that the Updated Master has had its SMB1 permissions changed to NOT accept this type of handshake
Anything showing in the Master's logs permissions/login failures

Things that don't work after SMB1 is disabled

You could run sfc /scannow on them, but as both machines are showing the same errors.

possibly more informative follow these instructions, see if we can gleen anything more
